Bendix P. "Ben" RoschmannBendix P. "Ben" Roschmann, age 87, passed away at his home in the early morning hours of January 6, 2025. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on August 29, 1937, to Bendix C. and Elsie (Fahlenklook) Roschmann. Ben was a 1955 Swanton High School graduate.He began his working career at Hamill Manufacturing, taking leave to serve his time in the U.S. Navy. After Hamill, he went to Champion Spark Plug, where he was a Supervisor of the Tool Room before moving into the Engineering Department. After leaving Champion, he served as a consultant for them, traveling to many parts of the world to trouble shoot problems with machinery.In 2002, he moved to White Springs, Florida, where he kept busy helping the "old folks." He also worked on several projects for the Methodist Church. He returned to Ohio 3 years ago due to his failing health. Ben enjoyed playing golf, working in his yard and little machine shop, and caring for the many dogs he has had.Ben is survived by his wife of
