Josefina G. Perez, lovingly known as "Josie" or "Josephine," age 68 of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Sylvania. She was born on March 19, 1956 in Hondo, Texas, to the late Pablo and Felicita (Garcia) Perez. She worked at Beam Stream for several years and then became a homemaker.
Mom's family was most important to her. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her significant other Noe. Mom enjoyed shopping, nature walks, bird watching, cooking, baking, sending her daily texts, and calling her loved ones. Mom fought a good fight and showed us that she was a true warrior. Mom had a heart of gold, the love she shared with everyone will continue to shine through us.
She is survived by her significant other of 15 years, Noe Villarreal; children: Elizabeth (Martin) Shannon, Leo Suarez, Hope Suarez, and Joe Suarez; grandchildren: Justice (Brandon) Vas
