Born on February 5, 1925, in Holland, Ohio, to Harry E. and Eva E. (Reed) Lewis, Josephine lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of many through her kindness, creativity, and dedication to her community.Josephine married Clarence Long, Jr. on December 13, 1969. He preceded her in death in July of 2003. Josephine worked as a clerk and store detective for Titke Department Store, where her attention to detail and strong sense of integrity were greatly valued by both her employers and customers alike. Beyond her professional career, Josephine's passions extended into the arts; she was a talented water painter and shared her love for music by playing the organ, piano, and violin.
